Colored pencil is one of, if not the most, satisfying mediums to work in (to me). Seconded only by water color. The amount of time and control that comes with reigning in this other wise temperamental medium will always keep me coming back to it. The control that comes with it is second to none. More so when hours are taken to applying the right amount of color in the perfect place just as the right headspace dawns. All of that to sculpt pieces like these.
